Ms Ani Hadjieva is Key Economic Expert and Head of Economic Programs at Geneva Interdisciplinary Centre for Economics and Law.
She has more than 20 years experience as international consultant on economic strategies, business development and multilateral trade policy. She holds a post-graduate degree in international trade. As Expert in the Ministry of Economy of Bulgaria, Representative to international organizations in Geneva and Lead Expert in the negotiations on Trade Facilitation, Market Access for Industrial Products, Information Technology and Environmental Goods, Ms Hadjieva contributed to the decision-making process within multilateral fora and regarding bilateral relations of Bulgaria and the EU.
Ms Hadjieva is conference speaker on topics related to the WTO, UNCTAD UNDP, OECD mandates and the EU comitology, with the most impactful one in Minsk. She currently conducts a research on the socio-economic effects of WTO accession and membership and implementation of the WTO commitments. She lectures in Bulgarian, English, Russian and French.
She authored numerous articles on trade remedies and EU accession, published in the Trade and Law Digest.
