Course Description
The course provides an overview of the functioning and decision-making mechanisms within the European Union, how decisions are made at EU level, who makes those decisions, how they are implemented and how to influence them.
Target group
Everyone interested in the European Union functioning, drawn to interact with its main actors and engage in the EU.
Course aim
To understand how the European Union works, who decides in the EU and how to participate in the process.
Course structure
Module 1 – Creation of the EU and main historical momentous
Module 2 – Characteristics and functionalities of the EU
Module 3 – The unique EU institutional set-up
Module 4 – Decision-making and negotiating with and within the EU
Module 5 – EU future challenges and opportunities
